Q: "How do you select your caregivers?”

A: Our Personal Caregivers have successfully completed a thorough reference and criminal background check. Each Personal Caregiver is bonded and insured.

Q: "How do you train your caregivers?”

A: Every Home …With Help(sm) Personal Caregiver participates in training programs that cover the most practical topics and situations encountered in care giving.

Q: "Can I help choose the caregiver?”

A: Yes, we invite our clients to participate in the selection of their Personal Caregiver, and we discuss the selection process during our in-home visit, or telephone survey. Each employee has a resume, with picture and copies of various certifications that is available for review.

Q: "Are your services available in hospitals, nursing homes or assisted living facilities?”

A: Yes, we can provide companionship to care facility residents who want additional personalized assistance.

Q: "What makes Home …With Help(sm) different from other companies?”

A: We strive to ensure that each client has a compatible relationship with his or her Personal Caregiver, and that our people are the best in the industry. Many companies use so-called independent contractors or freelancers that aren’t bonded or insured, and may not be screened.

Q: "Do I pay the caregiver?”

A: No. Home …With Help(sm) handles all the billing, payroll, taxes, insurance and administrative responsibilities. You pay us per agreement, and we do the rest.

Q: "What are your rates and minimum hours of service?”

A: Specific rates depend on total hours per visit. The more hours scheduled, the less per hour.

Q: "Why should I use Home …With Help(sm) rather than someone out of the newspaper?"

A. Ask yourself this question, “Would you invite a stranger out of the newspaper to have dinner in your home?” Because of our screening, training and commitment to quality, we are confident that our Personal Caregivers represent the type of person that you would enjoy having in your home.
